Today our 5th graders discovered their TES House and officially joined one of our four amazing teams: Altruismo, Amistad, Isibindi, or Rêveur!
This exciting tradition promotes school pride, teamwork, and community spirit while giving our students a chance to build connections across grades. Each house stands for unique values, and together they make our Bullpup family stronger. ❤️🤍🖤
Our 5th graders left the sorting with huge smiles, loud cheers, and plenty of house pride! We can’t wait to see the friendships they build, the challenges they tackle, and the ways they’ll lift each other up this year.

Monday wasn’t just our first day of school — it was also the grand debut of our beautifully renovated cafeteria! From the very first breakfast this morning to the first lunch of the year, our Bullpups’ faces lit up as they enjoyed the bright, fresh space for the very first time. 🐾❤️
A huge THANK YOU to our amazing cafeteria staff, who jumped right in and worked hard to make sure every student was served with care as they got to know their brand-new kitchen. We are so grateful for your dedication, smiles, and teamwork on this special day. 🍽️👏

🎉 What an amazing way to wrap up our last day of preplanning! 🎉
Our incredible faculty and staff started the day with a delicious breakfast provided by our Leadership Team and enjoyed a tasty pizza lunch together. 🍕 We kicked things off with a fun icebreaker, reviewed important school safety information, and went over beginning-of-the-year procedures to make sure we’re ready for our Bullpups’ first day!
We ended the day with a big group photo, capturing the excitement and energy of our phenomenal team. ❤️

Even more exciting… today was Meet the Teacher, and our campus was buzzing with energy! 🐾 It was such a joy to welcome our Bullpups and their families as they met their teachers, explored classrooms, and kicked off a brand-new school year.
We’re also so grateful to the community members and partners who set up tables and shared valuable information and resources with our families. Your partnership plays a huge role in helping our students and school community thrive! 🤝

A new state law -- House Bill 1105, which was signed into law on July 1 -- stipulates how and when students can use personal electronic devices during the school day in an effort to support focused learning in all Florida public school classrooms. The law says:
• Elementary and middle school students may not use a cell phone or other personal electronic device at any time during the school day.
• High School students may use cell phones and other personal electronic devices during instructional time only if a teacher gives permission for educational purposes.
• Exceptions can be made on a case-by-case basis for students with an IEP, specific health needs, or English language learners (ELL).

Highland Street, on Sunday, August 10, from 2:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sponsored by Peachy Enterprises, in partnership with local community partners, this event will feature several giveaways including free backpacks filled with school supplies and personal hygiene items while supplies last, free food, free haircuts, and free school physicals.
