Obtain VPK Certificate of Eligibility
The Certificates of Eligibility (vouchers) are now being issued for the 2024-2025 school year. They are also currently available for this school year (2023-2024) as well as Summer 23-24. Please make sure you select the correct program year when applying for your student's certificate. Just a reminder that the process is on-line only and they are issued through the Florida Office of Early Learning. Please note that applying for the voucher is not the same as registering with the school. You still need to sign your child up with the school.
Should you need assistance or do not have access to a computer and scanner, please go to the Early Learning Coalition of Lake County’s office at 1300 Citizens Blvd., Leesburg (352-435-0566), Monday – Thursday (8:00a.m. – 5:00p.m.). When you go to the Coalition you MUST have a valid email address (Yahoo and Gmail offer free email accounts). Additionally, you must take your child’s birth certificate (original or certified copy) and proof of Florida residency (i.e. Utility bill, FL Driver's License, Pay stub, Lease agreement) for the certificate to be issued. The certificate cannot be issued without these items. It is also required that the parent or guardian be present. You may NOT send someone else as a representative.
If you do not need in-person assistance, please visit the Florida Office of Early Learning’s on-line registration system. You will need to provide a valid email address and you will need to upload a copy of your child’s birth certificate as well as your proof of Florida residency.
